Gage is a Director of Photography & Water Cinematographer based out of San Diego, CA. His passion for film was ignited at a young age and it soon flourished into a lifelong career. Growing up an avid surfer, Gage was drawn to the ocean and its endless possibilities. After acquiring his first water housing and camera at 14, he began to hone his craft and travel the world with surfing's top athletes. Throughout his endeavors, his portfolio and skillset expanded into short documentary and commercial work. Gage has now worked with Vans, Nike Jordan, Red Bull TV, Nixon, Beneteau USA, Outside TV, Stab Magazine, to name a few. Gage continues on his journey helping brands and other creatives share their stories while creating beautiful imagery.

Gage has since launched his own production company, Outwest, where he leads a collective of filmmakers and creatives dedicated to crafting bold, cinematic stories in the outdoor, lifestyle, and adventure space. Through Outwest, he continues to merge his background in action sports with his passion for storytelling, scaling his vision from independent projects into full-scale productions that bring brands and athletes’ narratives to life.
